Wonder Well Travel: Highlights, Heartfelt Moments & What’s Next
A little over two years ago, I left my career in tech and launched Wonder Well Travel, a boutique travel design service focused on small-group women’s trips and custom itineraries for curious, culture-loving travelers. Now in my 3rd year, I’m thrilled to share a few milestones:

Travel isn’t just a passion for me — it’s an obsession. Designing thoughtful, beautiful, and often life-changing experiences for my clients is what I truly love.
✔️ Joined Leading Travel Networks
I affiliated Wonder Well Travel with Fora Travel, a modern host agency that supports travel advisors with a state-of-the art booking platform, exclusive hotel relationships, and with Virtuoso, the world’s leading luxury travel network. These partnerships give me access to the most sought-after hotels, insider experiences, and a global advisor community of destination experts.

I’ve been recognized as a Fora Pro Travel Advisor two years in a row — a distinction based on client satisfaction, booking excellence, and ongoing professional development.
🌍 Hosted Small-Group Women’s Trips
One of my greatest joys is curating journeys for women — many of them navigating life transitions and others simply seeking community and adventure. Each trip blends culture, nature, connection, and exciting new experiences A few recent destinations include:
- Slovenia & Croatia –with stays at the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj and Hotel Bohinj as well as boutique properties such as Majerija and Gredic.
- Portugal – from the Algarve to Alentejo, Lisbon to the Douro Valley, with stays at Bairro Alto Hotel, Casa da Companhia, and more
- Greek Islands – Athens, Naxos, Paros & Antiparos
- Croatian Islands – a luxurious week of island-hopping aboard Always Croatia
- Costa Rica – lush jungle and hot springs at Tabacón and Rio Perdido, plus beach time at W Costa Rica – Reserva Conchal
- New Orleans – music, food, and fun at the stylish Eliza Jane Hotel
- Morocco – from a desert-edge riad to a luxury Sahara camp and magical Marrakech

Having expanded my offering to go beyond women’s small-group trips to include luxury travel experiences for anyone, I’ve redesigned my website to reflect this. Check it out at www.wonderwelltravel.com and see some of our upcoming trips
👯♀️ Created an Online Community for Women Travelers
I also launched a private facebook travel group for women 50+. This community connects like-minded women to share travel inspiration, find travel partners, and help shape future Wonder Well Travel trips.
✈️ Designed Custom Itineraries for All Types of Travelers
From couples to families, solo travelers to retirees, I’ve designed custom trips that combine comfort, local culture, and wow-factor. A few recent examples:
- Several couples’ trips to multiple cities in Portugal
- A 3-week Southeast Asia honeymoon — Thailand & Bali featuring Six Senses Koh Samui, Anantara Uluwatu, Anatara Ubud and private guided tours in each location
- A “European Sampler” trip for a family of five starting in London and traversing 5 countries
- A 3-week grand tour of London, Scotland & Ireland for four active retirees
- A Costa Rican rainforest-to-beach escape for a nature-loving couple
👩💼 What’s Next: SAP Alumni Travel
After working for more than two decades with SAP, I would be remiss if I did not shape opportunities for my friends and colleagues there – many of whom are now SAP alumni. I’m now starting to offer both my women’s small-group trips and custom trips specifically for SAP Alumni. Stay tuned for updates on these travel adventures!
